1. Instead of printing claims, they are sent to a file on your computer.
You get a Generated Claims Report at this time listing all the claims you've gathered.

2. Then you will view your claims in the computer file to verify they are the correct group.

3. You then will send your claims to the clearinghouse via internet.

The whole process of sending 100 claims takes approximately 60 to 90 seconds.

Within a short amount of time (sometimes even 5 minutes) a report will be retrieved by you showing if any of the claims you sent had data missing or incorrect. It even displays the HCFA box number you need to fix.
